IBIZA - PLATJA D'EN BOSSA - HARD ROCK HOTEL

This top hotel is set on beautiful golden sands and is a great escape from the madness of Platja d'en bossa.

There are so many room options. If you are worried about space, book any room or suite other than the basic silver room, as these can be small, and the location is in the tower, so it is not as good.

The stylish, modern rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, and great sound systems to charge your iPod with tunes. Plus, blackout curtains are available whenever needed!

Suites have living areas and outdoor Jacuzzis or swim-up pools, while upgraded suites have dining rooms, ocean views and round beds.

The pools are large, and chilled tunes play during the afternoon so you can relax, top up your tan, and sample a few delicious cocktails if you are not suffering from the night before.

There are several hotel events and concerts throughout the week for which you get free entry, so save the regular ticket €50+ fee.

The beach at Platja d'en Bossa is excellent, but if you walk too far down to the left, you will be amongst the chaos of Bora Bora, etc. (This is great if you want it.) If you go to the right, you will find calm and trendy beach clubs like Beachouse, Nassau Tanit Beach, and Coco Beach.

The hotel has a lovely chilled beach club with excellent service. There are nice day beds and fantastic food in the Restaurant. They put on live shows during lunch and dinner, and other clubs promoting events also pop up.

A delicious paella is served for lunch.

Space is opposite, and Ushuaia is next door, so you won't have to worry about getting home after a night of clubbing!

Concierge desks provide excellent service to restaurants and clubs for you, as well as safety test car parking.

It is not the cheapest hotel, but the amenities are great. There are several bars, indoor and outdoor pools, and a good gym, so there is plenty to do.

There is also the most expensive Restaurant in the world, Sublimotion, an 'unparalleled gastro-sensory venture' where a 20-course meal costs €1500 per head!

The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Eivissa (Ibiza Town).
