BLOSSOM - RESTAURANTE EN MÁLAGA One Michelin Star
If you're looking for a restaurant in the centre of Málaga, just a few meters from the Cathedral, this restaurant could be the perfect option. Argentina-born chef Emi Schobert draws inspiration from the sea, the mountains, and local ingredients. The inside of the restaurant is tiny, most of the tables are on the pedestrian street it fronts.

On arrival, we settled in with a small beer and an Aperol spritzer.

We started with some excellent bread and butter.

Followed by,
Vieira asada con aroma de vainilla, mantequilla de avellana emulsión, puré cremoso de boniato y nueces tostadas de macadamia (roasted scallop with vanilla scent, hazelnut brown butter emulsion, creamy sweet potato puree and macadamia nuts).

Cola de langosta con mantequilla clarificada, crema de curry rojo, praliné de espárragos blancos y maní, yemas y huevas de espárragos fermentados (lobster tail with clarified butter, red curry cream, white asparagus and peanut praline, fermented asparagus yolks and roe).

Perlas de manzana caramelizada, crema inglesa de manzanilla, queso acidulado, compota y crumble (caramel apple pearls, chamomile English cream, acidulated cheese & crumble).

Ganache de chocolate, sirope de frutos rojos, fruta de temporada mermelada y desmoronarse (chocolate ganache, red fruits syrup, fruit jam & crumble).

To drink, I had a glass of Albariño with the lobster.
With the pudding, I had a glass of Moscatel sweet wine from Málaga.
I did not find it overly expensive, given what we ordered, the quality of everything, and the excellent, friendly service provided.
Tasting menus with wine pairing are available.
Given the restaurant's success and the limited space, we strongly recommend booking ahead!
