THE RESTAURANT HAS BEEN TAKEN OVER BY THE MAMBO GROUP WHICH ALSO OWNS CALA GRACIONETA AROUND THE BAY, AND IS NOW CALLED GRACIÓ BEACH.

THE LOOK IS MORE TRENDY AND THE FOOD AND DRINKS MENU HAS CHANGED.

I.E. MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE.

They charge €6 for a small beer (0.3) and €8 for a large beer (0.5). The cheapest bottle of wine is €45 Tomato Salad €26 Beach Burger €32 Corvina €40 etc.

Drinks

It is still a great child-friendly beach.

Just be aware of the new prices.

This is a traditional, old school beach restaurant, unlike the Mambo owned Chiringuito Gracioneta around the corner, which is good and trendy but expensive.

It is run by a lovely, engaging old Ibicenco. The food is fresh and delicious.

Try grilled sardines

Lubina (seabass)

Dorada (sea bream )

or a local fish called Pargo, all with salad.

Mixed seafod platter.

They also do excellent rice dishes, garlic mushrooms, tortilla and traditional Ibicencan desserts like flaó (a goats milk and fresh mint cheescake, made to the grandmother's secret recipe, so we are told!)

You will be treated to fantastic, friendly service. I would recommend visiting this restaurant for the paella, and because the people clearly care a lot about what they do! The beach is a great family beach with good sand and plenty of safe swimming

Although, it can get crowded during busy periods.

You can also hire paddle boats.

One thing to be aware of is that on windy days jellyfish can be blown into the beach, so keep your eyes peeled and have a good look around before entering the water.
