One of the new upscale restaurants in Sant Antoni de Portmany (San Antonio) which go against the preconceived images of the town. There is a terrace and a large inside seating area.
We started with, tartar de atún (tuna tartar).
Calamare panko (deep-fried squid rings, coated in panko breadcrumbs).
Patatas bravas.
Spicy potatoes.
Gambas ajillo (sizzling garlic prawns).
For dessert, we had the highly recommended Crema de pistacho (basically pistachio cream).
We had a bottle of the very acceptable Bodega Finca Garabelos La trucha 2019 Albario D.O. Rías Baixas.
They have a nice selection of cocktails and beers.
Everything we had was good, including the garlic aioli, and did not disappoint.
The decor and ambience are clean looking and well maintained. The service is informed, if a little under pressure when we went as the place was full.
