RESTAURANTE ES CUCÓ

This restaurant is on the outskirts of Cala de Bou, moving inland. It is a great place to stop for a drink or cheap food.

It is famous for its spit-roast chicken (with black pepper sauce) served with chips and salad.

We started with a warm goat's cheese salad.

It is a great, cheap meal. The chicken costs €11.50 without sauce and €14 with sauce. 

Along with the chicken, you will find boquerones (anchovies in oil, garlic, and vinegar), calamare (squid), pulpo (octopus), and lamb chops.

For dessert, we had chocolate tart.

Crema Catalan.

The restaurant has a secret back balcony/terrace, which is not visible from the road.

You will find a great spot to watch the impressive sunset over the countryside to the sea.

The balcony tables at the front of the establishment are great for chilling with a beer and watching the world go by in peace.

The staff are very friendly and work hard long hours, remaining happy throughout.

They have a supermarket next door with delicious meat and fish counters.
