KIOSKU CALA MASTELLA

This beach bar in the island's northeast is a local insider tip among Ibiza's chiringuito lovers.

It is sometimes unfavourably compared to the legendary fish restaurant El Bigotes, which sits to the left in the same bay. This is entirely unjustified, although it works on a different concept.

Pepe Bonet and Angel Pins have created a true oasis of calm here and created honest, perfectly prepared food.

They have six dishes (fresh fish, of course, hamburgers, chicken, and two types of salads) that guarantee the freshness of the food. Nothing is frozen here.

Lenguado (sole) €20

Sardinas (sardines) €16

Emperador (swordfish) €22

Calamar (squid) €23

There are also snacks (bocadillos/sandwiches, etc) and ice cream for the children.

You can sit in the shade between the pine, bamboo, and juniper trees and view the stunning little horseshoe-shaped bay.

The gently sloping beach is ideal for families and stand-up paddlers.
The beach entrance contains pebbles and stones, so children should wear sea shoes. At certain times of the year, there can be a lot of seaweed on the beach.
There is ample parking behind the kiosk. Be aware they do not allow dogs.

Booking is essential in the busy summer months. Although some people have complained about the staff attitude, we have never found that to be true.
